There's some good examples to look through in this thread:bennett188 wrote:I bought my son an 870 20 gauge youth model with 21" barrel. He will be shooting Tss loads. What choke do you recommend?

...bring on spring!!!! Not quite so fast... I still had a western fall tag left and made the flight west early yesterday morning and drove down to the pre planned hunting spot with enough time left over to squeeze in a 1-1/2 hour late afternoon hunt. We had hens answer our calls and made a move on ...

My brother had been unable to find a flock of mountain toms the last three times out, but finally found some today. Called them over with a Quaker Boy World Champ and took one with his old 2-3/4" Wingmaster and 2 oz of TSS 8s. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/wyogoob/Fix%20Pis%20for%20oth...

Gil, I think the key is laying the gun across your lap ready to shoot while you doze. I've killed two turkeys in my life like that, and both were in the last year and a half. beautiful day to be in the woods
Went out today and hunted hard all morning, but was unable to find anything. Found a nice place to sit down and eat lunch, and decided to stretch out and take a nap. Dozed off a little, and laid around for about an hour or so, and called every now and then. About 1:40, immediately after a lost yelp ...

I went out Saturday morning but couldn't find any. They'd had bulldozers in there messing around this week - and I didn't know about it, or I'd have gone elsewhere. But the woods were gorgeous and it was therapeutic.
