Re: Broadhead Wound in Today's Tom
I dont understand the bowhunting for turkeys fascination. That crap is for deer hunting. Turkeys are meant to be shot in the head with a shotgun. I cringe everytime I watch a video of a bow shot gobbler go running and flopping

Mine was also low with the bead. I mounted a Nikon Spur on my rail and it went on no problem at all. I had a buddy mount a Spur on his, and he had to file his a little to make it work.

Man those are purty. Most of the time my roll crimps look like a squirrel knawed on them about half the time. They still shoot good though

They're all too heavy to be practical to me. I'll sit in my bucklick creek style vest as long as anybody I know, and it's a fraction of the weight. I also hate toting decoys so maybe it's just me

I've got a Knoxx adjustable on mine, and love it. I wish I had bought about 100 of them while they were being made. You could make a mint with them on ebay right now

Re: Had A Few Visitors This Morning.
Thanks for the explanations, and that makes sense. I'm from south Alabama. Snow and extreme cold is no concern to our birds. Eating under bird feeders in rednecks backyard on the other hand is of extreme concern to our birds. I guess turkeys learn and adapt how they have to in order to survive.

Re: Had A Few Visitors This Morning.
What's up with yankee birds and bird feeders? I'd never heard of such until I went to Maine last year. Turkeys in the south know better than to do that

Any of yall know if the .430 nitro cards in this link would fit inside the power cup of the TPS wad? If so that would give a better gas deal option too

Re: Question for the guru’s
One of my best turkey hunting buddies had his 2nd back surgery 2 years ago. Doc told him no shooting shotguns for a year. He loaded up some 410 TSS and took them to the doc to shoot. Doc shot them and told him he'd be fine. He killed a MS limit and we both killed one in TN that year.
