Re: 8.5 or 9 shot
Here is some good reading on the subject.

Basically everything you gain in penetration for 8.5's and 8's is way on out there.

Re: Jebs 20 gauge chokes
Anybody got any information on what these chokes are doing in the 20 gauge? pattern pics with TSS would be great. (Yes JohnDoe, I realize it is not needed with TSS but I like the way they look!)    Honestly I've had the worst luck just bought an sx4 20 gauge I've tried ...

Re: Opinions on Benelli M2 20ga 24in Barrel?
My M2 kicks almost identical if not more than my buddies Affinity. Comfortech stock looks cool, but doesnt do anything for recoil. No super light inertia gun is going to really be a soft shooter. My gas operated SA20 is a softer shooter than both. The heavier gas operated SX3 and Browning Gold 20's ...

Re: #7 HW x #9 TSS Duplex ?
HW 7's on the top. It is heavier than the TSS 9, not more dense. I used a 1 7/8oz load of duplexed HW and TSS when I first started loading my own. It was a recipe Hal cooked up.

Beautiful fiddle! Great sounding combo too!
A Fiddlebox is a Marlin Watkin's short box design. Not sure of all the differences except for the concave sides, sure there are more.
My favorite box call maker!

Re: What do I think
I am by far from being a expert turkey hunter myself. But there are a lot of YouTube Turkey hunters that are not that good. I like Pinhoti Project, The Hunting Public, and Calling all turkeys. All the guys in those shows love turkey hunting. I learn things from all of them. Some of the guys on the ...

Can't go wrong with any of the mentioned guns. I have an SA20 turkey and M2, it is stressful every morning deciding which one to take.

Re: Benelli m2 trigger upgrades?
Get a taran tactical trigger spring. Cheap and easy, lightens the trigger a bunch. Way cheaper than a trigger job from Rob Roberts.

Re: Franchi or m2 which would you pick?
Love the feel of my M2, but given the choice again I would save hundreds and get the Affinity. Use extra cash for a good stash of TSS! Hardly any difference in the two.

Re: Who Shoots TSS in a BPS 20 Gauge
I shot a .585 Carlson's out of my SX3 with Hal's 1 5/8oz load and it was lights out. I could dig up a pic if ya want, it was a 310/220 average. I would think with the MOA a more open choke would be beneficial. It's an Invector plus gun so the bore diameter is .630, a .555 would be tiiiight!
