Re: Spring around the corner.......

I don’t think so. The whole area is out. They’re saying 11 tonight. If that’s in the ballpark, then I’m good.
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers!

Re: Spring around the corner.......

Gas furnace that needs electric to run.
We have no heat whatsoever. Hopefully they’ll get it fixed before 11. There was 100,000 homes with out power and 1,110 outages. It’s a matter of when they get to us. Crappy working conditions for the linemen. That’s for sure.

Re: Spring around the corner.......

We got dumped on yesterday. 12-14” of snow. Our power has been out for 17 hrs. and they estimate that it will be restored at 11 tonight.
22° right now headed to -10 tonight. It’s 56° in the house and heading south.
I really hate this crap.

We’re heading to AZ on February 22nd for 5 weeks. Been doing this for 5 years. Very nice place to get away from the cold and snow.

Re: Meadow Creek Mounts

Meadow Creek is the go to rib mount. It will not move! Stand up guys with a great product.
You will love the ease of installing a red dot without the hassle of drilling and tapping.
An added bonus is you get a larger field of view because your eyes are farther away from the device.

I have a Sharptail in 20ga. I don’t have a bunch of rounds through it but so far so good. My only complaint is that it is TIGHT to open! It shoots to POA. A very pretty dark walnut.

Re: Red-Dot and shimming

99% of the time, your red dot will adjust far enough to make up for any discrepancies in your POI. Don’t lose any sleep over it. Get your choke right. Mount the red dot and zero it at 10-15 yards with a dove load. Move out to 40 and shoot your turkey load. Make necessary adjustments but it should be...
