Re: Georgia season changes

2023. They gonna shorten our season and reduce the limit. Just in time to take credit as numbers are on the rise due to increased timber harvest. Gonna be unintended consequences. Howl, Explain the correlation between increased timber harvest and rise in turkey numbers. Not sure I follow you. Pete,...

My a400 is soft shooting and reliable. I use it for waterfowl. The best part is the main spring in the forearm not the buttstock.

Re: advantages of a trumpet

Trumpets are a good tool to learn. Turkeys probably hear a trumpet less often than other calls. They work in the rain. Easy to practice in the car with one hand. Low maintenance. Air operated calls are cool.

Re: Save the poults

It's why I support Delta Waterfowl and not DU, trapping Vs. no trapping. Common sense at the ground level ! Sorry I am a bit lazy and don't feel like reading pages of bureaucractic BS. Could you elaborate on this please. It is time for me to re-up my DU membership, but would gladly support Delta if...

And I'm not recalling the episode where we locked up miles of ground by parking 2 trucks, I'm not sure of a place where that's even possible? Although I have definitely parked multiple trucks before. I'm hoping perhaps if you've followed along for this 2020 season your opinion has changed. Now, back...

I just put mine down on the other day. Mine came from my 20year old Illinois fall turkey tag that I just found, it was not filled that year.

I have used a 1-4x20 leuplod. It worked as advertised with no problems. I shoot it with two eyes open and works just like a red dot only crisper.

Different options for each choice. Rank your choices and good luck. Idnr has a page showing the remaining tags after first lottery. Second lottery application ends Jan 14. You can have up to three tags n Illinois.

Re: A Day Early but Thanks to all My Vet Brothers & Sisters

Both grandpas were WWII vets. Air Force and Army. Brother was Navy.

Thanks to all that served. Without our military I would not be able to enjoy the things I do.

We have the best country because of the veterans.

Re: This years spurs

I was shooting my old trusty waterfowl gun that I was planning on using for raining days. 870 SM 26”bbl .675 HS strut choke 2.5oz tss 7.5s. Has about the same number of pellets as my 20ga 1 5/8 9s. Shots varied from 20-60 yards this season. Felt recoil was less than my 20ga. The 7.5s hit with author...

Re: This years spurs

Was very fortunate to spend many days afield this year. Did things a bit different this year. Went back to a 12ga with just a bead. Made my own mouth calls this and used them exclusively all season. Handmade shells and calls and lots of great memories. I also had a herniated disc operated on two wee...
