Yes it is bad in Pa.. In the last 15 years hear in Pa. it has gone from select cutting to Cut what ever you can to pay the cutting lease, then all the good wood is profit. This leaves nothing but slashings with no mast crops. Bear have exploded hear in Pa. due to the thick cover and very little hunt...

Re: Tim Grounds
Tim Grounds passed away suddenly in a accident at his goose club Sunday. If your a goose killer you probably used his goose calls at some point. His goose calls are my favorite. Easy to run and realistic. RIP Tim I will never forget what he taught me and the hunts together. One of the best guys I'v...

Re: Dick's stock drops
They had a good thing going before they branched out into Field and Stream. Before F/S Dicks had some of the best prices and now that they are trying to transfer Dick's hunting/fishing merchandise to F/S. The 10% stock drop was due to the transferring of outdoor gear to F/S, but they can claim a los...

Red Dot for Astigmatism
I have an eye disease called Keratoconus which is like a Astigmatism on steroids. I've gone to scopes on all my turkey guns. I've been using a center point scope and it has been doing a great job, but it is pretty heavy and alittle big. I've checked out maybe a hundred different scopes/red dots / ho...

Re: Calling In Spring Gobblers Before Opening Date On Land With No Hunting.
I mainly just listen in the spring and move on to the next spot. I have taken kids out early to get them acclimated to a bird coming in, but I try to stay on property that no one can hunt.

TSS Flush mount choke tube
Here we go again, Sorry! New Franchi Affinity 20gauge 24" barrel.. I was wondering some opinions about using a flush mounted .565 -.575 Carlson etc. choke tube.. Not looking for 5000 in a 10" at 40yards! 165 - 200 in a 10" at 40yard would be plenty to cover an Oh Zhit shot ( 1 5/8 oun...
