Ever Hunt with a Broken Back ?
I think I got the Guesswho curse. Man my luck is sucking and I am longing for the day I can hunt without an injury. About 3 years ago I broke 2 ribs and cracked several others right before moose season. Fun sleeping in a tent in an upright lawn chair because you can't lay down. Then I tore up my foo...

Re: Finished product
looks good but i think the legs are on the wrong sides. Right leg and foot should be on the left and reverse. The spurs should be on the inside of the legs cantered towards the center. I could be wrong but i don't think so. Oh man I don't think you are wrong. I hope you are or maybe he had to grow'...

I also like to hear the different ways that people deal with processing their wild game meat and maybe learn something. It will be interesting to hear how a pro does it.
I agree with Grumpy. You let it hang until the head naturally separates from the body. I thought everybody knew that one.

Hand your deer to age it or not.
Well I just got all my tags for deer season in the mail so the hunt is just around the corner. So for a lively discussion when you kill your deer do you hang it to age the meat or not? I usually hunt in the early bow season and the temps are so high that I basically have to process it the day I get ...

Maybe I am the only one but when I see U.S.. based companies building products in Canada it really does not get under my skin.. Not like as if they produced products on other continents.. As far as your info on the licenses, heck with the way use other countries across the ocean for customer servic...

Re: Turkey Face Mask Questions
Thats the mask I use also. The 1/2 or 3/4 quarter style. Been using it for about 15 years tried others but always came back to this one. I like the wire as you can form it they way you want even if you have glasses. Plus with the elastic around the top you can easily lower it around your neck and th...

I'll be glad when the US starts importing Tim Horton's coffee. For quite a while Tim Horton's was headquartered in the U.S. They were bought in 1995 by Wendy's I believe they just recently moved their corporate ownership back to Canada. They have been trying to put Timmies in the U.S. with out much...

I think that most of us will agree that our governments try to do these things to save money and reduce taxes. Just that most of my hunting buddies are upset because all of their personal information is being turned over to a foreign company and kept in that country and we had no say in the matter. ...

I know this a U.S. site with a few Canadians etc that visit here. So don't take this the wrong way. I also do a lot of hunting in the U.S. and have many friends there. In January our Ontario government outsourced all our hunting licences to a U.S. company in Tennessee. Created a bit of a controversy...

I got my heads from Boondocks and the bodies also. I stopped in there last year while hunting in Kentucky but didn't get to meet Brett as he was hunting with his son in Mexico.

I guess I am pretty lucky where I am at. Nobody will pay for leasing and most farmers will still let you hunt for the price of a little labour or some meat for their table. Hope it stays this way.
