I actually killed a gobbler that close one time. I fell asleep up against a big oak tree & I heard spitin & drummin & when I opened my eyes he was In full strut at 7 steps lookin dead away from me. I clucked once & he turned around & I floored him. I'll never forget it.

I am going to try the Nikon Turkey pro this year. My eyes are getting worse so I am trying a scope for first time. I have patterned it and adjusted. So far so good. You will love a scope on your turkey gun. IMO , with the right choke & load I think you will see the best patterns ever out of your gun. Good luck with it .
