All mine also in the same general area. Like you, I also have killed several single spurred turkeys as well. For some reason I always feel robbed.

How many of you have killed a Turkey that never grew a sign of a spur. This is my 3rd. 10in beard and no spurs.

I'm going either way. Just hope I don't get stuck 5 states from home.

My only concern would be going to a state and not being able to come home. If that is even possible.

Take fish oil and eat 12 ounces of steamed vegetables of your choosing and 3 strips of thick bacon once a day. Water only to drink. I always diet in feb/mar in prep for Turkey season. So far 24 lbs in 21 days. Good luck.

I don't think there is a turkey live or lived that I couldn't kill with my popper.
