Patient turkey hunters spook less turkeys... patient turkey hunters also kill less turkeys. Not saying the patient turkey hunter won't tag out in he or she's state but a patient turkey hunter probably will not tag out in 5 States

In my short 25 years of chasing these majestic creatures. I have seen the population in my zip code be great, go to ****, be great again and go to **** again. Hunter numbers haven't changed and habitat hasn't changed. The coyote population has changed dramatically so that's where I place my blame.

23rd season for me. Unfortunately I did not have a mentor other than the great tom turkey himself. I sucked so bad for the first five or six years that I damn near quit. I did kill a turkey my first year though.

The best tip I can give anyone with any type of hunting is to hunt safe. You can't kill him if you're not able to hunt
