There is no such thing as an Osceola hybrid. A gobbler shot north of that imaginary line is a pure Eastern,...and one shot south of that line is a pure Osceola. Don't you know nuthin?!

Years ago there was an old turkey range map which depicted a hybrid (intergrade?) region of Eastern and Osceola mix in northern Florida up into Georgia. At this point in time, I suspect that if a map was put together that truly showed "pure" subspecies populations in relation to hybridize...

Very interesting discussion. With the increasing advances in DNA analysis, it would be really interesting to see what genetic differences/variations exist in these isolated pockets of turkeys that still exist. I suppose its just a matter of time until someone has a "wild hair" to get into ...

The stuff looks good, but honestly, there is nothing that sets it apart in a clothing niche that is already flooded with similar merchandise,...stuff that is dirt cheap. If it is "priced to sell", it might make a dent in the market,...if not, I would be hesitant to invest much in it.

Are the roads they are driving typically driven-on regularly outside of hunting season by people doing other stuff? If so, I would not be concerned about it,...unless the guys doing it before the season are doing something stupid like using turkey calls or otherwise making the birds on the property ...
