I brought snake boots and lacrosse rubber boots, and found out day one that neither worked where I was hunting! I went to a Goodwill and bought a cheap pair of Reebok type running shoes. Amazingly the food saver still works. I was sure it would have been shorted out. Took about 10 minutes to splice, crimp, and tape the wires. Very lucky and very surprised. Now back to withdrawls from turkey season. Can't wait till I retire many years from now and can hunt through May wherever season...
