Re: Another 870 compact...

I had the full length rail with 4 holes, cut it down to 2 holes on the bandsaw and polished up the end and mounted it that way. I didn't care for the full rail either, that's why I went this route and see no issues after 3 years setup this way.

I think mine was throwing right at 300 in the 10 at 40.....I have a IC .562 I'm trying in the new one once I get it ready. Burris FF3'...

Found this turkey a couple days ago and told my nephew to come with me to kill him. What a beautiful morning it shaped out to be, filled with gobbles and we had the pleasure of sitting back and watching this turkey along with one of his buddies strut and gobble all the way to the gun. Couldn't have ...

Re: Any bronzed glass out there for calls???

It's just another variation of glass surface us callmakers use for pot calls. I like it because of the darker tint to the glass.

Another Beautiful Morning 4-8-17

My youngest and I set out this am to try and fill another one of his tags, not long after the first crack of daylight we found this turkey and set up as close as we could comfortably get. It took a little while but he finally committed and started working our direction and came in putting in one hec...

Re: Furthest you have seen a bird fly to get to your calls?

Around 150 yards that I killed. I filled the first morning of a 3 day hunt on Private land, so I went scouting to see if I could locate birds, and get to know the land for the following years hunt. Early in the morning I called, and got a Gobbler to answer far in the distance. I walked that way, an...

3/29 Early Work

Got on this turkey yesterday for the first time and he whipped me pretty good. This morning was a little different story, he didn't gobble a lot, 2 times to be exact, but his drumming sounded like it belonged in a caprice classic on 24"'s. It was a beautiful spring morning filled with all the s...

3-23 Early

Snuck into a new spot this morning I had seen sign previously scouting. Waited for the first gobble and he wasn't very far. Within 2 minutes of him flying down he was within 15 yards. Beautiful spring morning. Even found a dogwood still blooming to take a pic beside. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com...
