I don’t hardly ever carry a box call on road trips
So I keep ammo there along with a trumpet and other stuff. Also in the left inside zippered pocket

been using those for years like thatTurkinator wrote: ↑March 15th, 2024, 4:59 pmI am using plastic wad cups. And a plastic gas seal over the powder, so I figure a osc made from a meat tray probably won’t add much.

Re: Most productive box call
I hardly ever use a box call while hunting. But Darrin Dawkins sent me his personal one sided to take on the road this spring
I texted him after I got it and asked him if he really expects me to mail it back when done lol
Rough Neck Calls also makes a good box
So does MattVanCise

Manufacturers have several different lengths on threading into the barrel. The gap insures the inside is probley threaded. Even tho Franchi is owned by Benelli the Benelli has a smaller gap

Re: My Weatherby Element Turkey
Not really sure how much I took off..we cut it once and took about 3 more blade widths after that while holding the trim to fit pad on the stock…the factory pad and stock are way way to long like 14 inches or something near that. My gun will not be drilled and tapped..It shot so close to the bead i...

Daniel likes punishment so I hooked him up with some 3.5" ANNIHILATORS to pattern with my 690 Indiancreek. looking like ill be getting the 675 back and he will keep the 690 for obvious reasoning But I think he did pull right with Marvin on the Crusher 20ga shot. That lil gun has to hurt almost ...

Re: My Weatherby Element Turkey
I need to get mine cut down asap and do the same style pad for it.
Then I can get the barrel polished and a vent rib meadowcreekmounts on it plus a FastFire or something and start patterning. I think the gun is worth more than we are paying for it. Looks nicer than the Tristars quality wise

If u need others. Goto Hatfield Shotgun Company parts. Look for chokes. I got a 4 choke set. Choke box and wrench for 29.00. There beretta mobil threads. Alot cheaper that way. Then buying one at a time. I ran into same issue. I bought a mossberg 500 410ga turkey model. That matchs my sa. I thought...

Yes, but from my one time doing it, not all WIHAs are created equally and some barely looked like turkey habitat There should be a map for spring and seems like I was able to download to Google Earth, OnX, or Basemaps. I think I have it in Basemaps. I found the same thing. What looked like good acc...
