Re: Little League World Series
Peteluma CA is near me. Hope they get another chance at TN. No doubt Joe! I think that CA team is the other great American team in the series. yep, love it! that "kid" from Japan is a beast! 13 yrs old my butt....hell, he drove to the game with his wife and kids! :o I think you're right T...

Re: NFL
A couple of weeks and the season starts. I'm pumped about my Patriots, and improvement made on their D in the draft should help a lot. I'ts just too bad they have to start the season off with a LOSS when they play my Titans. See, I can say that early in the season because we have not actually...

Little League World Series
Anybody else get into watching the LLWS? We have a local team ( Goodlettsville TN) there which makes it even more fun to watch. If you haven't had a chance to watch, check it out. It's as good as baseball can get.

Re: DIY Camo Dip Kits
scuffing parts isn't proper preperation. Mechincal prep is the way, it leaves the perfect preperation effective method for removal of mill scale, rust and old coatings. A scotch brite pad & sand paper doesnt as the kit suggest, liquid prep's are even worst. You need 100 percent of the surface f...

Re: DIY Camo Dip Kits
you have to be careful of the dip kit's even though they say they "are" exactly the same as the big boys, it isn't. I 'm NOT saying this just be cause I'm a proffessional camo processor. I've had more guns shipped to me with severe rusting in the interior barrels. 2nd the paint or materia...

Re: CAMOS-Fashion statement or effective
The worst thing you can do is mis-match camo while in the woods hunting. Turkeys see it right away when you are wearing a mossy oak shirt with realtree pants. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I kinda miss the old Tiger Stripe camo pattern. The objection of camo makers is to make what looks good to the one spe...

This is old school for me. Remember I am still a young buck! My first bird and yes...I was cool back then.

Re: on shooting jakes
The only jake I have ever shot was my first turkey. I am pretty much a self taught turkey hunter. My uncle gave me a mouth call and pretty much said...have at it. Well the first bird I called up were 3 jakes and believe me, after all the work I put in with that mouth call, he went down without a 2nd...

Re: Diaphragm Call Mastery?
I say go with what you are comfortable with. My first turkey call was a mouth call. My uncle handed it to me and said.."here..learn how to blow this"...with no instructions. I think it all depends on the turkey. Sometimes they like how you sound and sometimes they don't. Mouthcalls do have...

Re: New Pocket Pistol
The best one is the one that goes BANG when you need it the most. I've never shot the taurus TCP, but did carry a Kel-tec PF9 for a few months. Although slightly bigger, it was still a good carry gun. I just had too many problems with it to trust it. Good luck with the TCP.
