IC .555
SSX .550

Primos Jelly Head .570
Primos Tight Wad .570

all of these shoot pretty good in the Rem 870 20 ga. Some better than others depending on what you are shooting.

Re: Turkey Contest
Or..make a "youth team". I know in my house Leah gets first kill, so we hunt pretty hard for her until she kills one. Then I get to pull the trigger.drenalinld wrote:Would anyone be interested in counting kills by youth you are guiding?

Re: Turkey Contest
count me in and I could care less how we score them. To me the NWTF scoring is pretty easy with android/iphone scoring apps. I spend 70% of my time behind the camera with my daughter on trigger, but I'm good for probably 1 or 2 kills. To be honest, my daughter would probably be the better teammate. ...

Re: $$$$ turkey ammo
Ammo is the cheapest expense the average turkey hunter has in a season. And you get the biggest bang for the buck. Makes no sense for me to spend all that money on gas, gun, licenses, food, equipment -- and then skimp at the moment of truth when a couple measly bucks will make such a big difference...

You got to give it to those boys down there in Mississippi. They have mastered the art of marketing! I need all the help I can get since I have to shoot turkeys with TSS at 70 yards cause I can't call.

This is EXACTLY what she is thinking. She has gotten REAL cocky with her two turkey's she has killed with the gun. She said she is ready to move to the bow. I just laughed and said....I'll shoot the gun when you miss! LOL

I guess the Lord knew what He was doing when He only gave me girls. Between hunting and the softball field, I have never missed a beat. Leah got a bow for Christmas and already shoots better than me. I a blessed man.

I like it!!!! I have FFII's on mine and my daughter's turkey guns and would not hunt without them. All I can say is....that little sight is tough as nails. I have dragged mine through swamps, wet grass, rain, rocks...you name it and it never misses a beat. Good luck this spring!

I wanted to wish everyone of GN a very Merry Christmas. What are your Christmas day traditions? Well, I wasn't getting rid of the phone, but now you have me interested in selling it. I can sell it to Sprint for $32, but that's not worth the paperwork. I may sell all of it on Ebay? Yeah...just go into the settings and reset the phone back to original settings and reformat the sd card and you s...
