Re: Mossberg SA-20 Tactical Turkey
The ammo is what matters, about any tss 20 gauge load that gets 250 plus in the 10” circle will be good out to 60. I have heard of kills with tss at crazy yardages, but after 60 things can get dicey. I would not encourage anyone to shoot farther than that. I had and SA-20 Turkey and it shot great pa...

Re: Benelli sbe2 tss pattern
Man, I would hunt that all day. 287 in the 10” gets you easily to 60 yards if you choose to shot that far. Those 8.5’s are gonna hit like a truck and your 10”-20” circle gives you plenty of wiggle room.

Can't be rethreaded for Crio. I don't think it will be a problem, except for having to buy new chokes.turkeyinstrut wrote: ↑March 24th, 2023, 9:32 am Not sure you can get it rethreaded for Crio, I could be wrong though.

Re: Opinions on 20g - Franchi Affinity 3 or Mossberg SA20 Tactical Turkey? Other?
Both are good guns but not comparing apples to apples here. If you don’t mind spending the extra money get the Franchi, it’s a much smoother action. I have both and it’s just hard to beat a Franchi, all things considered. I agree with this and I also have had both. Both are good, the Affinity is ju...

Re: TSS Loads
The best pattern I have saw from 835's with TSS was from an Indian Creek .720. This was from 20" barreled turkey models. I think about any normal "turkey choke" will be sufficient though. If you are shooting 2oz of tss out of it, then it will be hard find a choke that won't be killer ...

Re: Vests
Just recieved my Sitka vest in the mail todsy. Its about as close to near perfect minimalist vest Ive ever seen. Going to run a water bladder for the first time. So it’ll be interesting to see how that stacks up versus multiple water bottles. Id prefer it in a Bottomland color..thats the only knock...

Re: Sitka turkey vest
So let's hear some feedback on thoughts of this vest. I have the opportunity to buy one at significant discount . Just hesitant at the moment because I don't need another turkey vest laying on the shelf I won't use. Buy it I think it needs a few improvements But for a run n gun vest it’s perfect. I...

The SA20 is an awesome little gun. The trigger is ok, but easily improved with the MCarbo trigger spring. Takes about 5 minutes to install.

Re: Sitka turkey vest
I got mine on Wednesday. I think it will be the one I been searching for. It is well made, well thought out, has enough storage for me, fits great, and is light.
I don’t think it will be a hit with kitchen sink guys.
