http://www.longbeardcalls.com/calls.htm can build you a long box that sounds exactly like this hen http://vid23.photobucket.com/albums/b378/nonnydarnell/MVI_0141.mp4 Unfortunately that hen couldn't call a gobbler to save her life, because she sounds like a box call. :LMAO: Part of me feels the same...

Re: My current box call situation....

I agree that you can tell when someone is using one, but a lot of times they seem to pull a gobble when nothing else will. I like to use them to locate mostly, but sometimes if the bird is eating it up I use the...

My M2 20 and 12 both shoot POA. Well, my 20 shoots about 3-4" high which is perfect for me.

It does for me Gunslinger. The 2.25oz is a pretty grotesque load of sweet overkill.

Re: 20 guage tss choke

575-585 makes for nice evenly distributed patterns. There is no need for the ten ring to have more than 250. A filled 10-20 allows for some forgiveness inreal world situations like bird moving, adrenaline flowing, and awkward shooting positions. Most of the tight patterns are real good 15" patterns...

Re: Taurus Judge with TSS?

I would think as close as the bird would need to be given the sparse pattern, that penetration would not be an issue. So lead 9's may be the choice when shooting 10ish yards. I saw a video where guy crawled on one with a fan and shot him at about 3 steps.

My bro's did this with .555 IC and 1 5/8oz of 9's. This was the 26" barrel regular model SA-20.
He loves his, lightweight and shoots straight.
