Re: FLUSH MOUNT CHOKE FOR 835
Have a buddy shooting 2oz of TSS 9's thru .717 flush choke in 20" barre and he gets awesome hunting patterns. I bet with 8.5's it will be a great hunting pattern.

Re: Opinions - Cerakote or Dip
I love the Cerakote tiger stripe I got from black doves. It was way more than I wanted to spend, but it looks great and has held up awesome.
If I had to do it all over again, I would just have got all the metal done in black. I wouldn't dip one.

Re: Have tss on the way and could use some advice
I would think the factory full would give you that kind of pattern with the 2.5oz load.Fl strutter wrote:Thanks I'll post pics when I load some up I'm hoping I can get good patterns with the 8s. I'm hoping for a even 10 and 20. Much rather have them even than a hot core 10 with little in the 20.

Hal has a 2.25oz load, it is a great load. Immense overkill.

I think the BPI flattens them out, I much prefer the Precision Reloading roll bit to the BPI. It is a cheaper alternative to the GAEP.

I agree that you can tell when someone is using one, but a lot of times they seem to pull a gobble when nothing else will. I like to use them to locate mostly, but sometimes if the bird is eating it up I use the...

Ole5beards, he was saying at 56 yards the #5 lead pellet traveling 1100fps from the muzzle penetrates 1.25" in ballistics gel. Doesnt matter if handloaded or factory.
