Be interesting to see what it does with a clean barrel. Nice pattern though. I use the 13/16 load.

Re: New User Intro and Gaep Question

The gaep makes them look better, but not superior. Trim 3" hulls for the m2 or use 2.75" hulls worked for me. I use the gaep stuff.

When the shot is placed right, the meat comes out perfect. Hit low and it will be a mess.

My 11-87 3" killed many an animals with minimal problems. Minimal care by me, mostly waterfowl hunting. Killed my first turkey with it. Dipped in mossy oak forest floor.

My dad has limited ability to walk due to a work injury in 2005. I take him to areas where the ground is mainly level. For me I just cater to his needs and try my best to do my best.

Re: Cut hull or use 1/8" spacer before Roll Crimping

I would trim and save the felt for filler in loads that required them. Trimming will shorten the oal and should avoid any cycling issues that may arise.

Re: Does anyone find the need to trim hulls for handloading?

I will trim in order to get 1/4" above to over shot card. Or adjust spacers to get desired height.
