Re: Retirement destination

Western KY was at the top of the list. Then I saw KY has one of the earliest average ages of death. :dontknow: I was born in raised in the Sandhills of SC, was graduated from USC and spent several years travelling the state for work. I do miss the BBQ. The low average is due to eastern Ky coal mini...

And, that picture of the "opossum" is one I've seen lately of a Nutria. I've never eaten Nutria, but a buddy who is the best chef I've ever known says they are absolute...

Indian Creek and the Longbeards in #5 would be easy and cheaper than TSS. But if you want the ultimate TSS is the absolute way to go.

If you want to try some TSS send me a PM

Re: Veterans Day

Thank you all who served! Indiana has the most veterans per capita than any other state. I have many friends and family that are veterans. Cousin of mine who flew BlackHawks a few years ago was part of a Veterans day get together in Culver Indiana. A Culver native is a Pearl Harbor survivor and my c...

22 degrees and 18-20+ mph wind gusts made a cold frigid fence row hunting this morning.

So cold I almost wanted to pee on my hands to warm them up

I concur on the 555-562

Depends on size shot

I’ve had several pair I rotate with (2 pairs of each style - cool chore, early season, mid, and late/arctic!). Haven’t worn any out but the chore cools. That’s Bc I wear em 24/7 in the off season. She seems pretty damn smart. She would, as of 8 weeks, sit, stay, mark, and retrieve on command. I can get about 4 solid retrieves out of her before she gets distracted. Age will take care of that.
Sounds like she’s a natural. Will be good to see her grow and hear stories on what she does

Re: repairing rubber boots

I actually had good luck with flex seal. Alot of times I drag my duck decoys over dry land in a jet sled and than float on water. Well I developed some holes, flex seal it and it was good as new. There is a flex seal that’s for boat bottoms. But I’m positive that the flex seal sold in stores as see...

Re: repairing rubber boots

Rubber boots are junk. The last time around I tried the Redhead brand warranty. The manager tried to give me a hard time, but their warranty says they'll swap out anything. I stared him down and walked out with new boots. so if I stamp these with a Redhead brand logo I can swap them for gooder ones...
