Re: Benelli M2 choke question
My montefeltro 20 likes the Carlson's HW 7 choke.
268/227 and 286/244
Carlson's .580 choke was a bit too open. 10in #'s were barely over 200.
Comparing M2 to a Monte may be like apples to oranges though. Let us know what you find.

Re: The NEW turkey hunters
I don't think I'm physically or mentally able to sit in a blind watching decoys, in any weather condition. If they passed a law that in order to turkey hunt you had to have a state approved blind and decoy then I'd either quit turkey hunting or be an outlaw.[/quote] X2!!! Bushwhackers, deer hunters,...

Re: my grandson recovered nicely
Congratulations!
I'm sure you were way more nervous than Trevor.
BTW, what sling is that you have on these guns that slips over the stock?

Re: my new 28ga hammer
I wanted to get the exact same gun, but the LOP is too long for my children and I don't believe they make a youth stock for it. That was my holdup.

Those early Saturday morning games keep you out of the woods, but man it's fun coaching these youngsters!

Rios and Osceolas
Who do ya'll recommend as far as outfitters for Rio's (Tex or Ok) and Osceolas? Don't need a guided trip, but don't mind paying to play. Wanting to put together a Slam season in a few years. We have Easterns at home and I know where I want to go for a Merriam. Thanks

Finally got what I've been searching for. Guess I'll get it just in time to pack away with the rest of my gear for the year. Our season ends today.

Fan him or if he's gobbling enough on his own, move in as close as you can without being spotted before you ever say a word to him. Call once and put it away.

I know folks were looking on OGob last year. I'm looking for old style circa 1998 pants and shirt. Anyone have any leads for me? thanks
