Look on ebay. I just saw one on there for $30 a minute ago. They have been harder to find the last couple of years.

I've hunted a 21" barrel on my 20 gauge 870 for the last 15 years. Never had an issue with it. It's deadly and my favorite gun to carry.

Re: Worlds Smallest Turkey Gun
The discussion of changing POA/POI is a sure fire way for some to burn up ammo unnecessarily especially "counting clicks". There is no reason one should have to shoot 4 dove loads in zeroing in a shotgun. As has been discussed here by some, an easier method involves a steady, repeatable r...

Way too late to plant Chufa in Indiana. They take at least 90 days to make before frost.

Re: 5 11 Taclite pants
I've worn them for 20 years or more. We had them as uniform pants initially and I liked them so much I started wearing them all the time. They were making realtree pattern pants several years ago and I bought 3 pairs to hunt. I eventually wore them out. The crotches will eventually tear out of them....

Re: 16ga Remington youth 870 on gunbroker
I bid on it, but got busy and thinking about it. I just thought it was a little high. Too busy at work when it closed. I've bought several 870's in the last year and they were way lower than that. That being said, I might have bought it is I was close to a computer.

Re: 20 ga 2 3/4 " Rem 1100
I have shot 2 3/4 " HW 7's out of an old LT 20 1100 and had a buddy give me some 2 3/4 TSS probably 10 years ago that he loaded up. I know he used Hal's recipe. My son shot all the shells with no issue. It was before TSS was mass produced and I honestly didn't know anyone around my area that ev...

Re: Meat grinder
I have a Cabela's as well. I can't remember exactly but I think it's the 1 hp motor. It will flat grind some meat. I've had it probably 10 years. I also have the cuber attachment for it. It is well made and commercial grade. I've never had a problem with it. I probably process 20 deer a year with.

Re: Use Enough Gun
I made the switch to a 20 about 8 years ago after I saw how effective they were with my son's setup. He was shooting 2 3/4 inch HW 7's. That coupled with the trigger on my 835 broke on an out of state trip and I brought my son's youth model 870 as a back up. I was a little skeptical the first time I...

When do turkeys reach sexual maturity? Can a jake breed a hen? Does making jake harvest illegal affect population? I asked the former SC deer/turkey state biologist(Charles Ruth) that very question several years ago on the ability of a jake to successfully breed a hen. There is no definitive resear...

Yes. My daughter shoots the mini Bantam .410 with 18.5 inch barrel modified and kills gobblers just fine. I have a 870 .410 with fixed full and it does too. It ain't rocket science.

Not gonna take too many years of the "Come hurt our turkeys" facebook ads paid for by the Nebraska Game and Fish to trash the place. The ad pops up on mine all the time and several of my friend's pages. Hell maybe all the turkey hunters in the U.S. are getting it. They make it seem like y...

Re: Pine Ridge Hunting Pressure
A pile. I have hunted it 7 or 8 years. In my opinion, if you go late in the season most of the birds have either been killed or on private. I have always hunted it the last 2 weeks of May. One year I took my son out there for the youth season. $6 tags for the youth. He killed 3 gobblers in 3 consecu...

I like a youth model myself. Hard to beat an 870 for turkey. DIRTNAP why don't you just hunt with some of the guns you are asking about and decide what YOU like.
