Just guessing cause it certainly could pass for it. Neen a few years since I’ve been out there. Love hunting muleys there.

I bought a pair of Zamberlan Lynx GTX this year and hunted with them right out of the box. They rubbed my heel a bit until broken in. But they are lightweight and solid as advertised.

With respect to center fire rifles, I’ve never been nearly as consistent with a lead sled as I have been on sand bags. I just can’t find a way to keep the lead sled solid steady

Lawsuits sometimes take years to litigate. And the value of the claim is small change. Unfortunately this will probably have no effect on their business in the foreseeable future.

Mountain birds in any state. You can’t scout them easily from any distance and they will hang up inside killin range but you can’t see them.

Re: I thought TX would rank higher for top Turkey hunting states?
Nice read. My little corner of PA is covered up with turkeys and for the most part getting access to hunt private land isn't all that difficult. But I say that from the perspective that the local farmers are my neighbors and we are not total strangers. And this time of year you can't drive anywhere ...

Hobbes, you are fortunate to live in such beautiful country. I’m a flat lander but have been chasing elk and deer across your state for the last 15 years. The Big Hole River valley, the Crazies, Boulder River drainage, the Breaks. Have had lots of highs and lows. Getting close to retiring and might ...

Re: Yildiz Dealer's ??
I talked with a gun counter clerk at the Academy in Spartanburg SC a few years back and he told me that they really don't have very much control over which specific guns they get from their warehouse. It sounded like a truck shows up and they get what is on it. (This was part of the discussion I had...

Re: Yildiz Dealer's ??
To the OP. Academy does sell the Yildiz. But I found out the hard way that they will only sell to residents of the state and bordering states. I am a resident of PA and they would not sell me a shotgun in SC. By the way, I have stumbled on the same restriction at Bass Pro in NC. So I am not sure wha...

Re: New England Arms 410 tss pattern
Bass Pro in NC would not sell me a gun as a PA resident. Told me the same "neighbor" state story. But the would ship to BP in Harrisburg PA and I could pick it up there.
