Social media seems to have its fair share of crazies.
Don't have to worry about that here.

Seriously, welcome to all the new members. Enjoyed your input this year. Well, most of it. :D

Re: Osceolla & Possible Rio

I grew up turkey hunting in South and Central Florida in the 60's and 70's. I once had an airboat with two people ride by me in a pasture while I was on the edge of an oak hammock turkey hunting. Nothing odd about that, except it was two miles to the nearest water.

I had two of his pot calls. One Is a personalized call that is a keeper. The other one was conditioned and was vest worthy. Fine man to deal with too!

Re: Let’s see your turkey Spurs!!!!

I think Guess Who made a really cool spur necklace a few years ago. Not as time consuming as other neclace making methods. Hopefully he’ll post it again. It's been a while, and I'm feeling unusually social today. Your right, not near as time consuming. Although it is a bit cumbersome to wear on hun...

Re: Vortex Venom performance when wet?

I've hunted mine in the rain several times with no issues. I usually put the cover on it and remove it if I need to shoot. Worse case is I have to take a glove and wipe the lens, like you would a scope of water is on it. But performance wise I've had no issues at all.

Nice, congrats. I have a house in Pine Mountain. See lots of deer but not many turkeys. Neighbors have told me they used to see birds all the time, but not in the last several years.
