Re: no pride in some hunters
I would just tell him hey I don't care what you do legally to hunt these birds but I dont want bait anywhere near me.
Sometimes you have to remind kids that cutting corners only hurts themselves.

Re: Don't tell anyone
That's my only issue over there it's like someone with a recurve telling me what shots I can take with a compound based on their limitations

Re: gobblers
Fall/winter who knows, one of the main farms I hunt for turkey and deer have about 150+ birds every year all winter so it's not uncommon to see multiple large groups of bearded birds in deer season. It's not uncommon to run into flocks segments of 20-30 Tom's hanging around or hear large amounts of ...

Re: gobblers
We had 17 longbeards, 6 jakes and 23hens fly down into the meadow we set up on last yr opening morning in MT. It was obvious that he winter flock hadn't broken up yet but was still a very impressive show prior to fly down and after.....we didn't kill one that day either. LOL It's cool to see until ...

Re: XT TURKEY CALLS
I just took a look at the sight, almost everything is listed as out of stock? I've been running hooks, Hallorans, and Houndstooth and thought maybe i should give a try to something that doesn't start with an H.
any idea when calls will be available again?

Re: Round 2 NEW Winners for the GN Hunting Trip!!
I think it is really cool how you did this! I Love hunting in NY in the spring and its one of my most looked forward too times of the year. I have 10 days carved out to Hunt the Catskills and Hudson River Valley this spring and its some truely unrivaled gobbler hunting. Best of luck to all the winners
