Swagger Bipods

I’ve used Harris for a long time without a product failure. From muzzleloaders to rifles, they are on my gun during every hunt without exception. I do take them off when I get up in the treestand but they return before my decent. For the amount I have hunted them, should they break at this point, I ...

Re: Old school camo remingtons

I bought the whole collection over a multi-year timeframe before this movement became extremely popular. I can promise you that the camo is infinitely better in quality and color than any aftermarket original pattern dip that I've seen, but I understand those that can't justify the price of today's ...

Re: Who hunts with a double?

I built one thinking I’d carry it this year, but ended up deciding to stay faithful to my 870 until I finish my slam. Looking forward to taking this one to the woods in a few years.

I made it into the .410 club this past Saturday. I expect I’ll carry it to a few more turkeys in 2019.

Re: Where to get gun dipped

Don Mullins at Camo Solutions recently dipped a Yildiz 20 gauge of mine in original bottomland with a very high degree of detail.

He is a nice guy that is passionate about performing quality services on firearms. I strongly recommend.

Re: Recommendations for Public Land Merriam's hunting

I dont know where you are located, but....dont limit your search to Nebraska. Don't get me wrong, I love hunting Nebraska, but there are plenty more public land opportunities for Merriam's. CO and NM offer opportunities in the Merriam's native range, and it's incredible country. Everone should hunt...

Gil-- Any chance your friend would be willing to run a 13/16oz. plastic hull load through the gun for comparison? I have a 25" .410 Yildiz currently with William, and I loaded 10 shells (13/16oz. Hal load) to test the gun with. The goal was to figure out what length barrel/choke is optimal, an...

Mixing shot size

When you all run a duplex load, do you mix the pellets together, or do you find they shoot better with small shot on the bottom and bigger shot on the top, or vice versa?

Thanks!

2 oz. 8X9-1/2 TSS Choke HELP

Really need some advice from the experts. I'm running a .665 Rhino out of a 26" barrel 870, shooting a 2 ounce 8x9-1/2 load. I believe I'm over choked for this load, with a 3 shot pattern that's abysmal. I didn't count them, but I'd estimate I'm pushing less than 250 pellets in a 10" at 40...

Having played Redbeard's 3" copper at Unicoi, I can tell you I was very unimpressed. You'll be much more satisfied with the Halloran.
