Re: 20 ga slug shells
Have had 2 of those guns and a buddy has 2. 3 shot the Hornady sst the best and one was extremely finicky and shot lightfields pretty well. I ended up selling that one before i found the one it liked best. I would try several types but deffinately try the sst. Those guns are capable of 200yds.

Re: Ohio 2016 Totals
Well from the opener until the 30th i had birds absolutely hammering. Just flat gobbling their heads off and putting on shows. I kept hearing from people that the birds were not gobbling and they couldnt kill any and all that stuff. 4 of those birds died. Oh i should mention I was in kansas and miss...

Re: Welp, this is now my ONLY turkey hunting site, LOL
I almost got kicked off of Old Gobbler.com by Bowguy, I believe. I was sent a personal message to my personal email address. Some members there did not like my public land posts as I am open about helping others and I was telling beginning turkey hunters where to park for a good chance. I love this...

Re: If you go to Missouri, better have a plugged gun
So you didnt read the laws before you went? They are not the only state that requires a plug so next time maybe you should read the states laws before you go there to hunt.

Re: Any Morels Yet??
I picked about a dozen today. All the small gray thimble caps but they tasted just fine. Let the small ones grow. around here the greys don't get more than a 1 inch head on em. Doesnt matter where you are located a morel has a life cycle most will get bigger until they mature. Some alot bigger than...

Fur was the highest it had been since the 80s just a couple years ago. Don't look for it to go back up for a while. To much going on with china and Russia.Turkinator wrote:Wish the price of fur would skyrocket.

This has been a frustrating season for me. Had 3 misfires on one bird then missed another to find out my scope was off by 10 inches(it was sighted in 3 days before) then killed my first bird and then went on to have to take a tough shot on a close bird(7yards running) because the guy I took out deci...
