Re: New regulations for SC
Historically, I think you would be right. Early in the seasons dominant birds often have large harems of hens and therefore gobble little after flydown and are essentially uncallable. They account for a big part of the breeding, so turkeys had a built in protection against this early overharvest of...

Re: Youth 870 20ga Question
Not sure what constitutes "youth", but I shoot an 870 Compact 20G with 21" bbl that came with spacers for adjusting LOP. Mine is setup for 13.5" LOP with the spacers that came in the box. It works well for me and I am 6' 2" with a long wingspan, generally speaking. It has sa...

Re: 870 Recoil Pad?
Remington had a bad run on the recoil pads, I had a few that did the same thing. I called Remington few years back, and they sent me two new recoil pads free of charge to replace the ones that had starting "leaking" so to speak.

Great box, and the only one I tote in the turkey woods. I own numerous high end boxes, but have always had good luck out of my HH.

That is what it's all about Hart, I like how you roll. I can relate to your get up and go......as soon as I shoot one, I want to go hunt for and shoot another. The adrenaline that turkey hunting gives me is like no other. Congrats again on your success, and thanks for sharing with us.
