Glad to hear. How long was turn around time?wvhunter74 wrote:I just got the gun back and it ejects fine. When I shoot it with the mp300 the brass doesn’t swell like before . It looks to me they replaced the barrel with a smaller chamber.

Re: Stevens 301 ported Jebs xxfull patterns
New to the 410 game, what’s the difference in those jebs Hit or miss. Unported could be lights out or waste. Then porting could wake it up. Really gun depending That’s why we say the 410 is finicky You have to shoot every conceivable configuration in the shell and every choke to see what is thee fl...

Stoeger m3020 20 gauge
The factory choke was decent, was a little patchy with some of my loads.

Hal had said somewhere you would lose 30% per 10 yards. Seems about right

Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Well I tested some chokes... the Carlson’s .575 shot better than the Indian creek .555 and stoeger factory .565 in all aspects. Was very even and way tighter than expected. Stoeger M3020 with Carlson’s .575 extended choke shooting MOA 9’s. 10” - 391 10-20” - 275 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2018...

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Yes actually the factory choke put low numbers with 1-5/8, it was like 250 ish. Dirty barrel. I’d guess with the Indian creek that’s enroute to me now [emoji51], I’ll hit 400+ with MOA and 350+ with BIG20XL I have a couple Indian creeks that I like shooting paper and missing turkeys with. I'm gonna...

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Pretty sweet. Have you shot the 1 5/8 yet from the 3020? I would say the moa20 took me from a 330ish up to a 370ish with 9s. However I'm assuming my 10-20 has increased a lot more. I haven't got around to counting but I will. If I could get a 370/300 pattern that would be sweet, even if it is extre...

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Ok so, with a dirty barrel, and a factory .565 stoeger choke with my M3020, I got : 9’s - 312 8’s - 267 7x9’s - 265 The patterns were very nice, I’d definitely like to try a couple different chokes, the straight 9’s were beautiful 50/50 like pattern through the 20”. The 8’s and 7x9’s were pretty eve...

Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
I shot it just now, it has some umph to it and it’s close to a 3.5”. I’d guess the same as a 3” 12 gauge load. Anyways, unfortunately they won’t cycle in the stoeger M3020 without a slight push from the bottom. I haven’t counted yet but will post the counts with a stoeger factory .565 choke

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Bowhunter, have you loaded those 20moa in the 3020 and cycled it without shooting? I'm very interested to know if the 2.80 cycle in that gun! I'd venture to say mine were longer but I didn't measure. It's possible I didn't crimp down far enough and that's why it didn't seem to recoil that bad. I ju...

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Shot the 20moa today. It's less recoil than a 3" longbeard for sure. Considerably more than the trusty stubby 20 co. Shot it in a little bitty 500 turkey thug that weighs very little. Now the zip load of Hals....that runs 1260ish fps and 1 5/8 oz. It kicked. Nothing scientific like reloader ha...

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Wonder if it would eject/feed through an Affinity? I couldn't get them even close to being short enough to cycle in my M2, I also think the recoil would be brutal on a auto. I think I will just stick with 1 5/8 loads. What's the longest that will cycle for you? Now you have me worried about my Stoe...
