Any Day Now

Took a walk around my place a little bit ago & spotted this doe several hundred
yards away in the corn stubble. It doesn't look as if she's dropped yet but it
should be any day now.

Re: Who'll Stop the Rain

Only 50 percent of Ohio’s corn crop and 32 percent of Ohio’s soybean crop have been planted as of June 10, 2019.

Who'll Stop the Rain

These pics were taken at 07:30 A.M. on 06/16/2019. The prediction is for up to 5” more by this coming Friday. The crops that were planted run the risk of drowning and/or literally boiling to death. 06/15 = 1.8” 6 days in June = 6.4” 55 days in 2019 = 26” 01.JPG 02.JPG 03.JPG 04.JPG 05.JPG 06.JPG 07....

Bunch of trouble makers. I've been banned here twice for leaving my yard.
And you're working on #3, which will be self-inflicted!!

Re: Federal Heavyweight #6

As confirmation to my previous post, I sent the following to Federal this morning:

"Has Federal discontinued the original heavyweight turkey shells & replaced them with TSS?"

Their response:

"Yes they have been replaced with the TSS."

Re: Question?

I asked my two Ohio GW buddies if they would write kid a citation for using one, they both said no. I asked them if they would write me a citation for using one. They both said they handcuff me. write me a citation and have me strip searched for the bullet that I said I didn't have. Which would inc...

Re: Question?

Yup,...I would interpret that to mean that to mean you can't use the gun. However, this also just goes to show the questionable intelligence of those that write the regulations. Wouldn't it be simpler and clearer to just state,..."it is unlawful to use any shotgun that also has a rifle barrel",.......

That wasn't a bad site until they banned everyone that might make the dictator look bad and that was a bunch of knowledgeable turkey hunters !!
I banned myself not once but twice. I was gullible enough to get talked into rejoining but it didn't take long before I banned myself permanently.

An Insurance Suggestion

For those of who own multiple firearms, this is something you may want to think about. While my firearms are covered to a certain extent under my homeowners insurance, I decided to get all of them covered individual. This is what I done so far. 1. Took 3 pics of all guns, 1 from the left side, 1 fro...

Moms ‘n Pops, Chilluns, & Extended Family – Part 2

After lunch today, I drove by the pond to check of the goose families. There are 4 family units with 3 by the pond & 1 across the road in the field. You can see the size/age difference on the 3 sets of goslings. 2 of the families have 3 young & the 3rd 1. I’m not sure if the birds across the road ha...

Moms ‘n Pops, Chilluns, & Extended Family

On the way home yesterday, I saw 3 families with different sized goslings resting in the grass along the south side of the pond. For a change, I didn’t have the camera with me & the geese were literally posing. Today, I did have the camera & got a few pics. It is unusual to see 3 families as well as...

Re: Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Venison Poppers

Next time, I plan on some minor adjustments: 1. As I said, use thick cut bacon. 2. Use 2 half strips on each popper,1 going left-to-right & the other, top-to-bottom. I think this will hold the cheese better as it did run a little during the cooking process. 3. I may make a few with cheddar just for ...
