I just found some rubber tubing I had laying around and cut it to length and slipped it on over it

Re: New build
Have you noticed if the ATI stock doesn't really allow you to get down on the gun when you shoulder it? When I had the ATI it was hard to get down on the barrel to line up the bead. I used a FF2 and it didn't matter, but just didn't like the way it shouldered. I noticed it but I was gonna use a ff3...

Yeah it'd be a dedicated turkey gun if I was to get it but so is my sbe2. However, you could put a FF3 on it and wing shoot with it lol

Re: New gun..?
Man I like that Winchester sx3 long beard. If you're planning on using a scope or any other optics that cantilever bbl is the way to go. I also like the Stoeger 3500 with pistol grip and I think both are good choices, IMO, but I'd look hard at that Win sx3 LB. It'd be close to perfect for me and my ...

Re: Pattern/barrel problem
I absolutely agree that it's fine pattern for hunting out past 60 yards. I just don't like the idea that almost 10% of my pellets are in a completely separate group, 3 feet away from my other group at 40 yards. Probably just being anal/picky, but that's kind of why I'm loading TSS in the first plac...

Re: Pattern/barrel problem
Did you try a different choke? I tried 6 different chokes at 40 yards. This is the one that did the best, so it's the one I'll hunt with. My opinion is that if the one that patterns best has 50 pellet's high left of a 36" sheet of paper, I can do better. Like johndoe said, obviously it's bothe...
