Re: Heading West? Be aware

Haven’t been on in a while and just now seeing this thread. It’s crazy how the rental car mess is. I can tell y’all this…don’t rent from one state and return it in a different state. Crazy expensive. I did a road trip with my with and mom back in may and we flew into denver and got out car there and...

Re: Who Here Has Never Taken A Private Land Spring Gobbler-- But One Day Would Like To?

I'm lucky if I have 3 or 4 gobblers between the land I own and lease. It's all in one block and is several hundred acres. I'm likely going to venture into some public ground this spring due to the lack of gobblers and good ground

Re: Convention Photos...Please!?

The mounts were great! Lots of very nice mounts.

Here is a pic of the hawk that got loose and went for a stroll. Ended up on this mount. Flew in from directly over my head as I was taking a pic of the smoke phase in the corner

Re: Best reflex sight

For reflex, the ff2 and ff3 will be the ones to beat.

I put a bushnell trs-25 on my little 301t and initial impressions are good. Seems like a really nice and cheap red dot option. Time will tell. I havent shot it yet

I believe I found one today. I ordered it and am waiting for confirmation between them and my locsn shop. Look at a cheaper ff2 knock off and need to know what I would need to put it on this gun. These are the ones I'm looking at https://www.ebay.com/p/SW-MP-Sd9ve-Pistol-Mount-Plate-for-Sightmark-Bu...

Re: New Stevens 301 Turkey .410

I'm not seeing one available anywhere online. It's not even showing on the savage site. I have a new yildiz in the box I was going to work on, but this will fit the bill way better if I can only find one. Would someone mind sharing a price range?

Air fryer Turkey nuggets

Anyone got any good air fryer tips for turkey breast/nuggets? I bought one for Christmas and am using it for the first time tonight with some dove breasts. Maybe they will turn out ok.

Re: 20 ga dove gun

I dont beleive I've tried the m2 for doves yet..cant remember, but dont beleive I have. I shot my little Charles daly once and couldn't hit crap. I typically shoot an m1 or a borrowed super sport, so maybe the transition to the m2 will be smooth and work out ok. I'm going to break my guns out soon a...

I'm sure there are plenty that shoot a 20 for doves. I'm gonna give my little m2 a try for doves shortly and was curious to what choke most of you shoot? I've always shot a modified...in 12 and 20. I've just never been able to kill em with a 20 for some reason. Likely it's because I suck at shooting...

Goulds mounts made it home

Here are mine and my wife's goulds gobblers from 2017. We went with el halcon and had an absolute fantastic hunt. Mike at Blackwing taxidermy mounted them and his work is as good in real life (actually better) than the pics I've seen.

Mine is the stutter and my wife's is the upright

All depends on how much money you got burning....Clint Corder, Paul Platz, Pat Strawser all make some very fine pot calls. Hanks is another one. I have several Hanks calls now and love them all. There is a long list of great pot makers out there that all make very, very nice calls Another lesser kno...
