WTS - 12 Gauge Antique Roll Crimper

Bought a roll crimper on eBay that was listed as a 20 gauge, but when it came it was a 12 gauge. I do not load TSS in 12 ga so I do not need it. Seems to roll very well on some empty used 12 gauge hulls. Keeps you from needing a drill press to do beautiful crimps. Asking $45 TYD. Feel free to pm que...

Buice Macassar Ebony

Picked up this Macassar Ebony last week. Came with a screw in white delrin 4. I like this Buice 6” but prefer the 5-1/2”, though I am becoming more fond of this particular 6". Put this micarta 4 in it, really like the sound of the combo and the looks.

Buice LV 5-1/2” #3

Yesterday evening was too pretty to not get outside for some practice. That number 3 is not the best to Kee on but would definitely do it in woods if I felt like I needed to. Thanks for a listen and feel free to share anything you think may help improvement! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR4kjeP-78s

Ethridge hydographics in KY did a awesome job on my 1187 and my buddies 870. Jerry Ethridge is his name and he's a great guy to deal with.
Is this the NWTF Obsession or the original?

Re: Can you hear it?

How high should the headphones be volume wise? If turned up I can hear from the beginning until I just could not take the sound any more.

Some Fruit from the “Tree of Life”

Received this 5.5” Lignum Vitae aka “Tree of Life” Monday. I ordered this trumpet to go with an ivory mouthpiece that was very generously gifted to me, it is a number 3. Got a number 4 delrin and micarta mouthpieces for her. Going to order a flat micarta when I can! Another beauty from Mr. Billy! ht...

Re: Hunting with a trumpet

I decided years ago to use burnt cork on the back of my hands. I don't think any camo is necessarily needed on my hands, but it makes me feel better. A lighter and a wine cork is easy to slip into a pocket. I also think the breaking up of hands is mental, but since I put this much effort into it I ...

Hunting with a trumpet

Rapscallion Vermilion explains it way better than I could try and explain it. Lovett Williams has pages and pages of these for different turkey sounds he recorded for his book Voice and Vocabulary of the Wild Turkey. Horizontal axis is time in seconds, so the entire window left to right is about 1.7...

Hunting with a trumpet

Been hunting with a trumpet for a few years now, 6 I think. When I practice at home in the evenings I never wear gloves to use them. Well when I hunt I would use gloves and it never felt right and I felt the sound was muffled so when hunting with a trumpet I took them off. Well over time I use the t...

KP Mademoiselle

Finally got my Savduck lanyard for my new KP Bois de Rose so wanted to post a picture. Had Del add the bead Kenny sent on his lanyard to it. Told Del to do his thing and I think it turned out great! She will be the first to dance on Wednesday, but the Señorita will not be far. https://uploads.tapata...

3/4 with adjustable cord. I hate a 1/2 and full mask. I should have bought 10 of the one I have as I love it. No clue what I will do when it is time to replace it.

Very nice collection. Would love to have that KP or MKW. McLain makes a killer call and it is hard to beat a Buice.
