Eventhough it's late, if you put any of this mix out, post up some pics here for others to see.Bigspurs68 wrote:I'll give it a chance!

Re: New mineral site. ( video )
allchokedup, Check out the mineral recipe that I posted in the link below, it is much cheaper than Lucky Buck, and just as good or better. Also read the article later in that topic, that I posted by Dr. Kroll, and you will see that my mix will align almost spot on the the mineral requirements in his...

This is interesting and definitely cheaper than Lucky Buck. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for posting. No problem! Yeah Lucky Buck will cost you $25/20lb bucket, so $500 for 120 lbs. My recipe costs you $45-50 and makes 157 lbs. My recipe also aligns pretty much spot on with the deer's needs, ...

Freshened up a few mineral sites yesterday. Also put a new one in, for the heck of it, in a place I found some heavy clay soil. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170619/73b15384bec20573e36989d1cab103f7.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170619/c378644219492ed34cb96bc57a98726b.jpg https://upload...

Re: Patterned a Federal HW 7. Roughly 17 pellets over load.
I've cut a pile of these shells, and robbed the shot, and every single one had extra pellets. On every shell I weighed, it had 1 9/16 oz, or exactly 14 pellets more. They were all one single lot number.

Nail polish shouldn't raise pressures, but I have to believe that elmer's glue, as dense as it is, would.

Opinions - Cerakote or Dip
Do both, get it dipped, and have clear matte cerakote applied over it. Utah Hydrographics does this.

Here is a 20 ga Benelli that I won at a DU banquet weekend before last. It's destined to be a turkey killer, if it shoots well.

Yeah, we tried to make it happen, but the going was tough, and the birds just didn't want to cooperate at all. It was great to meet a few more forum members, Casey, Dave, and Kevin. Definitely looking forward to doing it again. I got to get the TN monkey off my back! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Excellent Mineral Mix for Deer
This is a mix I formulated and have been using for around 10 years. It has some scientific value to it, and the deer seem to love it. This recipe cost $45-$50, and makes 157 lbs of mix, which is enough for 6-10 sites depending on how much you put out. 1-50 lb bag of a quality all around "Free C...
