Anyone ever buy a choke from a "Choke Manufacturer" and have it arrive but not fit in the barrel?
Just a complete failure to build the choke to the proper dimensions.

If the tightwad doesn't work for you try R.E.M. Super Full and then Trulock 585.

They will kill to 74 for sure. Very few pellets stay in the breast. Fewer than anyone would think.

Re: The beauty of Tungsten shot......
It's the reason I started. I started with the BuckShot. 45pellets 4mm at higher velocity was so much better than lead OO BuckShot at lower velocity. Wider and more dense and even patterns and reduced recoil is better for younger and older hunters.

Oh, by the way, is this where I say you don't need this high dollar chokes. A Trulock 585 or so is the ticket.

Re: 870 20 gauge barrel length....21" or 26"
Every bbl is an individual, so it's hard to say one will out do the other. I'd say in my experience the longer barrels seem to pattern a bit better on average and provide a bit more speed, but on the flip side some short bbls will pattern better than a given bbl a bit longer on the same action. Jus...

If you can find someone that uses KG GunKote use them. I have 3 done with it. My dedicated buck shot gun rides barrel on the dash board. 6 years and almost can't see any wear. Real rough riding truck on rough roads. It's the toughest stuff I have seen.
