Help With Old Slate Call
I'm trying to locate the name of a man who made a slate turkey call in a plastic pot with a lanyard holder loop on the top and holes in the back of the pot. I would say they were in the late 1970's-80s'...they were commercially distributed. Thanks in advance

Was out at 5:45 this morning in NEPA and the tom's were screaming. They gobbled heavily for about an hour and then they shut down. Season opens Saturday, hope they are still this vocal then!

Completed my Royal Slam
Went to Mexico a few weeks back and was able to harvest a mature gobbler to complete my Royal Slam. The ranch we hunted on was chocked full of gobblers! For anyone who is nervous about traveling to Mexico because of safety concerns we had absolutely no issues at all. The Mexican people we met were v...

Mexico 2018
I completed my Royal Slam last week while in Chihuahua, Mexico. I was concerned about our safety based on the US State Department warnings against travel there. During our trip, there were 6 of us, we never once ever felt threatened. In fact all of the local Mexican people we encountered they were v...

Headed to the Mexican State of Chihuahua to go for my Gould's turkey this Thursday! Going for my Royal Slam. Wish me luck that I come home safe and sound from the thrones of the drug cartels throughout Mexico. At least I know I can run faster than my two friends that are going with me, LOL. I'll han...

Re: Mexico safety!
I went last may to Chihuahua with El Halcon. It was a fairly quick and whirlwind type ride out of town away from the airport. They told us they wanted to get us out of that part quickly as that was a bad part of town. We then went on into a bigger city that was all good. They had a Lowes, a nice,bu...

I've heard it can be a hassle to get a gun into the country, but have never tried it. It's enough of a hassle flying with one in the USA.
