Took out a 32 year old newbie who has never even hunted. Got his bird the second day. I got one also. The kicker is the students bird was bigger than the teachers. I was more excited for him than myself.

Anyone try and turn a pot call out of mulberry? If so what can I expect. Or should I not even try it?

I use purr on my pot calls all the time. Get a lot of responses, even from hens.
