$575 for identical service......
Plus $25 for trigger guard.

Probably going to just send my forearm and both stocks off for hydro in greenleaf and then do a solid cerakote on the barrel and receiver locally.
Yep that would save some money
who hydros in greenleaf now?

Re: Which new 20?

I ended up getting a Mossberg SA-20 off GB with a 28” barrel, by the time I send it to sumtoy to be cut down and re-threaded I’ll still have less than $475 in it

Osceola combo hunt recommendations

In the next year or 2 I’d like to tag an Osceola, I figured since I’ll be in Florida night as well get a couple hogs and a gator too. Has anybody done something similar and could recommend a good outfitter?

Hoping to put a notch in the 16 gauge this year. I found a 870 Express, youth model with a 23" barrel. Have a .630 tube on the way and some #9 TSS, ready to test. April sure seems far away.....
Is the youth built on a 20ga 870 frame or 12?

Most durable vest

I’m in the market for a new vest, I’m looking for strap vest with good stitching especially on the shoulder straps and tough fabric that every tiny briar won’t shread but isn’t noisy when limbs brush against it. Any suggestions?

I have never bought the wrong gauge before. I’m kinda particular I guess. :D
I certainly didn’t buy the wrong gauge in person, I bought off gunbroker from a dealer in Texas. I’ve done a lot of ignorant stuff in my day but handling a firearm and buying it without knowing what I had ain’t one of em

Re: New to me gun

Welp, my Lefever got here and it’s in great shape and locks up tight. But there’s a small discrepancy it’s not a 12ga, the barrels aren’t marked but but I’ve tried 5 different brands of 2 3/4” 12ga shells and none would come close to fitting in the chamber. I’m thinking 16?

Which 28?

I’ve toted a 12 for 26 years killing turkeys. Ive got a few pounds of# 9 TSS and it seems kinda crazy to continue to carry almost 8 pounds of shotgun and shoot 2oz of gold when y’all are getting awesome patterns with a fraction of the shot and in a compact lightweight gun to boot. Any recommendation...
