Re: Gas or Inertia?

There is hope! maybe in another 10-15 years we will see SloppoMatic plug a Benelli  If Benelli would quit being stupid, they could simply put a longer 24" or 26" or 28" barrel on their M4 gas piston design and effectively copy the V3 for four times the price (and please Benelli... ditch the Mo...

EGW scope mounts are all the Slopster uses on his Savage 220 bolt action 20 gauge shotguns. Rock solid stable and no disappointments. Fantastic mounts.

Low quality fodder with unrealistic base pricing.

Who the hell shop’s at Dicks anyways?... they suck from a quality products standpoint to begin with.

Re: if money was no object.

I would buy the guiding services of Ronnie Cuz Strickland and one of my personal favorites, Ernie Calandrelli.

Both of these gentlemen make time for discussion with me when I shoot the breeze with them at the NWTF Convention.

It would be awesome to hunt with either of these turkey men IMO. 8-)

Re: NEF pardnar shotgun

Pretty simple: buy a caliper and measure the outside diameter of the barrel at the muzzle. Then measure the wall thickness of the barrel at the muzzle. Once you have your measurements, you can evaluate what choke system is possible for installation on your barrel. General O.D. Measurements will tell...

Are you willing to put wheels and axles on a domestic canine?

If I cannot pull Rover (settle down George... this aint a pipeline story...), then it just won't seem real to me.

Re: Cutting and Rethreading a Barrel

Briley is your answer for Invector Plus threading.

Yes, Briley cost a bit more but it will be installed correctly and threaded in line with the centerline of the bore.

I take an opposing viewpoint. Banning straws... are you kidding me? This has to be amongst the dumbest ideas and faulty logic (even for California)... but... of course... brought to you by the United Socialist State of California. Wrap your head around this: California Gov. Brown wants to put you in...

Okay… I'm a Browning "snob" and am supposed to tell you to purchase a Browning Maxus or Winchester Super X3 (don't even bother with the Super X4)… … but my answer is: Remington V3 3-inch 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun. Soft as a Silver/Gold/Maxus/SuperX3/FN SLP automatic but MUCH easier on the wall...

Re: ? about getting SBE original D&T

Aluminum, steel... no matter. They both can be drilled and tapped. The DaMar mount is unique and is not a saddle mount (it does not use trigger group pins to attach it to the receiver). The man to ask is Dave Klotz at DaMar. He knows more specifically about shotgun mounts than any gunsmith I know. N...

Re: ? about getting SBE original D&T

The STEEL (corrected) is not brittle per se... just too thin on the top. If you want a mount on that SBE, the only real solution is to drill on the curved sides of the receiver and mount a DaMar shotgun mount. Dave Klotz is the mount's creator, patent owner, and a certified gunsmith. Trust me on thi...
