Re: Thanks to the pioneers of Tss!

I almost feel like I'm missing the boat by not shooting TSS...almost. What do you shoot when we hunt together? Obviously, I just "shoot the ****" when we hunt together. Too much of a good thing turns the universe upside down. Turkeys hear that we are coming and run to the next county. I think Ricky...

I call BS its in the ground also ! Like you say, it's all political  MMMMMM .. tested a lot of soils for a lot of different reasons, but CWD would be a new one for me ;) Apparently from a lot of the research I've read they are called prions and they are left in the soil by infected animals...

Re: Just A Wee Bit Over The Limit.

I call BS its in the ground also ! Also I have a feeder I run year round and see a the deer come in usually one or 2 at a time feed a bit then leave. I have a camera on my buddies food plot and the deer congregate there for hours at a time all in close proximity with lots of nose to nose contact ! P...

I used a lone wolf climber for years when the only place I had access wouldn't allow permanent stands and it was great being so light just remember to make sure the bottom and top are secured to each other LOL

Re: Loggers

When I used to moose hunt a couple years the loggers would put their trailer across a road to stop guys from going further and keep the area to themselves. One year a buddy who is built like a defensive end wrapped a chain around one of their trailers front and pulled it out into the ditch he was so...

Re: Comments on the How to Process a Deer string

One possible solution to the hair-on-meat pblm. If you have access to water, wet the deer well after you hang and before you skin. Then if some gets on the meat it will easily wash off as opposed to if it gets on there dry. Old squirrel hunter from VA taught me that. Dry hair sticks like glue to th...

As part of his penalty, he should be required to pick up all the corn..............by hand..............a kernel at a time. He should also be required to pick up all the sugar beets..............by hand..............a beet at a time. And plant them in his 10 by 10 foot plot then he would be legal !...

Re: Just A Wee Bit Over The Limit.

I believe the main issue, is the DNR trying to get a handle on CWD to manage it and still maintain the hunter confidence. They're in contact with other states on what they've seen with CWD and are trying to be PRO on adopting rules for control of CWD. Now that right there is down right hilarious or...
