Yea I called the company up last month and asked about it. The edition I got a couple weeks ago had the month of April on it and it said Spring. I guess I missed the first one.

Re: Tennessee guys

I'm looking at hunting some of the public land on the Cherokee Tennessee/North Carolina line and was wondering if anyone can give me any advice of were would be a place to start looking. They have a lot of public land in that area so I thought I would take a trip, but didn't want to show up in an ar...

Re: Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazine for 2017 and 2018

I checked several grocery stores, no luck so I decided to check Barnes & Nobles, they had 6-7 on shelf in my area. It's a little thin but maybe it will get thicker and offer a subscription for home delivery.

Re: Just Found A Cool Site

I just looked at it and whoever put it he sight up hasn't updated it since 2016. Great idea for a sight it just needs maintenance to keep it up. Same as a few other forums on web. Turkeyandturkeyhunting, and Grandslam, and turkeyhuntingchat. I've been waiting for the Admin to accept my registration ...

Re: Longbeards....wow !

12ga. 3-1/2" longbeard did drop one last year at 52 yards and it never flopped. I was impressed from a factory load. I shot federal flight control for years and then changed to longbeard. I almost get same pattern with heavy shot magnablend. I'm loading TSS this year just to see. Sent from my i...

Re: Noob Needs advice, please

I used to shoot the fed. Flight control until 3 years ago I went to Winchester long beard and the heavy shot magnablend is very good also. Both huge difference from flight control when using a trulock choke. This year I'm starting this TSS and see what it will do. But factory box ammo in my mossberg...

We hunted close to a little town called Fullerton and it was close to River. Couple of farms were on the river and then one we hunted was out away but we could walk in creek bed that was dry.

Re: Merriams vs easterns?

My single experience advice is - call - often -and be prepared to call over the wind - North west NE - it was windy from the time sun got up until rite b/4 sunset - every day for a week. We experience gobbling all day - but only killed early am and late in the day - but man what a fun time I don't ...

Re: New England Arms 410 tss pattern

If you buy a gun for someone else, you have violated the law. And I sure wouldn't offer to do so on an internet forum. And it makes not a penny's difference that you have an FFL. Form 4473 certifies that you are the actual buyer and not buying for another. The exception is if you are picking a gun ...

New England Arms 410 tss pattern

The New England website says 5-6 pounds I never weighed mine before . I know it feels really light almost like a toy gun! I beleive the yildiz 410 that guys are using only weighs like 3 pounds thats half the weight. This summer when I go down south for vacation I hope to come home with a yildiz!! I...

Re: Slate Calls

Yes, you can kill turkey's with those mass produced calls. But trust me and do what southern said, save some cash and buy a custom that is built and tuned by a turkey hunter that knows what one sounds like. The best advice is to go to a show, local or Nashville and run them until something clicks a...

Re: Merriam's Country

Broken Arrow Wilderness is a place I've been in Nebraska. They are really down home people and will work very hard to get you a bird. I went on a 4 day hunt and I saw over 40 Gobblers. Many I couldn't get up on but the last day I had a blast seeing and hearing more than ever. Great folks and nice af...

Re: What type of sight do most use thoughts on reflex sights

I know leupold makes a new one that is motion activated so running the battery down wouldn't be as big of problem, but It's hard for me to spend 400.00 for it. DO you use guards around them for protection or they seem to be durable without is.

I called the magazine company a little while ago and they said they are not offering a subscription at this time and couldn't say when they would nor any idea of when the first magazine would be published. I just thought I'd call them to show interest anyway. The # is 888-457-2873
