Re: Scope mount NEF shotguns

if its not already drilled and tapped you'll need that done by a gunsmith. Sumtoy or EGW bases for the red dot. Weapon mounted lite, I would screw a weaver scope mount base to the wood stock forearm and mount a light to it

Re: Thanks to the pioneers of Tss!

once the new and improved Heat Seeking TSS pellets come out, we will eradicate the turkeys in USA. What will we do for a hobby then? We will make our shotshells with 22.42 g/cm^3 Iridium spheres . So deadly it even kills dead turkeys. LINK] : https://www.americanelements.com/iridium-balls-7439-88-5...

Re: Hearing enhancements

Walkers game ears. get them for both ears. do not use the muffs. when you use them in both ears it is like surround sound stereo have used them for close to 12 years. I have hearing loss from operating heavy equipment. high rpm baling rig running a crane. couple that with shooting and I am in the sa...

Re: Here It Is ML'er Season Again ......

Based on ICEDEDTURKES recommendation I tried the Harvester sabots. Haven't shot them yet but they loaded much easier. Bigspurs68 also suggested for me to try the harvester wads. and to knurl the barnes bullets, or any bullets for that matter in muzzleloaders to get the full spin needed for accuracy.

Re: Once in a while you splurge

Probably in the 120s based on the time and color, but I didn't probe it. I sear them in duck fat at what Hank Shaw calls a "jocular sizzle", putting pressure to hold them flat with a spatula, flip them when the skin is done just right, salt the skin side, and give about the same amount of time, may...

Oh man that steak looks just about perfect to me. I swear I could taste it just looking at the picture. Beautiful. This is how I cook my ducks. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4107/35379117870_55f07d0eb7_o_d.jpg what temp is that duck cooked at? I like them done without killing the flavor. but I don...

Kyle Smith is the pioneer. Without him TSS might not be where it is today. I've got a dual wad load that I believe he originated. It's amazing how a shot that other forums banned from being talked about and even did away with a sub forum for reloaders is having to eat there words now, but enough on...

Re: Smokeless Muzzleloader???

You are simply not going to get the velocity of smokeless gunpowder out of BH209. Keep this in mind Hoo if you are concerned about 400+ yards ML shots on deer. up here 2=300 is all I will ever need. Hankins is 1.5 years behind. He is covered up with work. I need to call him and see if I am able to ...

Smokeless Muzzleloader???

I have been talking to Darren Dhe (BigSpurs68) on smokeless muzzleloaders. I’m really liking the idea of not cleaning between shots.
The CVA Scout V2 45/70 in stainless is very appealing to me.

Anyone on here shoot smokeless in a 45/70 conversion???
