Re: 20 gauge brass shells

First step was to determine if blackpowder might be a path to go for low recoil loads. Eh, a standard 7/8oz load works out to almost 50 grains Triple 7. So, while I assumed bp would be a path to softer shooting, smokeless seems to be more likely route. Too bad. Pretty sure the boy would dig a big p...

Re: 20 ga. 1-5/8 TSS vs. Same in 12 ga.

I don’t have a 410. I would get one if my daughter was 6 and small. But I love all my turkey guns. From the 10 down to the 28. But I haven’t killed with the 28 yet.

Re: Federal TSS

From what I have read on Facebook, Apex has gooder pricing. I’m probably gonna but some 10ga and 28ga loads and not worry about buying all the supplies. Not like I’m gonna shoot them as much as I would my 12 and 20

I have ScoutLook and HuntStand. I like HuntStand because it gives you owners info and seems very accurate as far as boundaries.
Guy at the local archery shop showed me that app. Pretty nice and I used it several times this year.

I start out with a pull behind game cart filled with a tent blind, decoys small cooler and Honda generator for the coffee maker and hot plate. Usually my vest has one long box and two short box calls, 11 pot calls and 46 strickers. Ammo, maps, first aid, tablet , camera etc. After not killing anyth...

I would recommend #5-6 tss if your gonna shoot them within 60 yards or closer.

Pattern should be good and penetration will be better

Y’all with Shooter

He has a 20ga youth sized tss load.

I have found tho that most youth can handle the regular load unless your talking about a 6 year old kid etc.

Re: Vests

Years ago I had a vest and hated it. tried on many others and they all sucked. I found the Beard Busters run n gun belt and loved it. I would still be using it to this day except for the Dixon vest I tried on at Bass pro when they came out. Absolutely love it and glad that Nomad has come out with th...

Re: Question about TSS

I laugh because I believe the most patterning knowledge ever brought together was on NWTF. This is no dig on TSS or any other shell, we have reached a point whereas a 50 yd shell whether factory or handloaded is no mystery, but in that time it was pooling knowledge to make something work for a memb...

The 3rd Degree load looks interesting. Wonder if it'll actually do, now that it has 40% TSS 7s.

Looks like they're going after WInchester Longbeards pretty hard.
whats the price difference in them?
