Re: modifying Franchi stock
Please keep me us posted of your progress. I like the gun a lot and I agree that would be a great fix for this gun.

Re: modifying Franchi stock
I am needing to modify the grip on my Franchi 20ga. It came with the pistol grip and I traded it for a compact stock the grip from the trigger back really sweeps straight back and then drops down. Feels like I have to really stretch my trigger finger forward and doesnt feel natural anyone here ever...

Re: WTB: 870 LOP kit
I have the synthetic stock with the spacers to lengthen LOP from an 11" or so to 14". Is that what you're looking for?
If so send me a private message with your cell number and I'd be happy to take some pics and text them to you to make sure I have what you're wanting.

Re: This is Ridiculous!
Great job! Could be luck but obviously you're putting yourself in the right places to get lucky. Kinda like at home when I talk to and say some nice things to my wife when she's not busy doing something else and then if I go in the bedroom and talk to her some more when when she's not all tired and ...

Re: Mexico - Goulds Hunts
I'd go to Mexico to chase goulds in a heartbeat if I had the money and was able to go with a reputable outfitter. If any of y'all wanna live vicariously through me I'll happily accept your kind offering to pay my way in exchange for me risking it all to bring you back an incredible hunting story. Se...

Re: Wash Cape with Dawn or No Wash?
Thanks for the input y'all. I'm definitely going to wash this one and get my daughters help in the process. There's just a lot dried blood and junk all throughout the feathers in many areas. It will be a learning process but aiming and hoping for the best outcome. Hobbes I appreciate the detailed r...

Re: Wash Cape with Dawn or No Wash?
Congrats to your daughter. I've never washed any part of a bird. What I have done with tails & capes is pine them to a large piece of cardboard feathers down spreading the tail. I then remove any fat & cover the cape & base of the tail with borax (20 Mule Team works.) The wings can be d...

Yeah you can see the WMA harvest but not statewide including private land as far as I can tell. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Wash Cape with Dawn or No Wash?
I have a cape, tail, beard, spurs and nice black wings off osceola my daughter shot last week during youth season. Since it's here last youth season in FL and was such a memorable hunt I'm wanting to do the cape display with wings and fan. I do NOT have access to a tumbler. Should I still deflesh an...

Re: Florida Opener
Since Florida now requires turkey kills to be reported I wonder if FWC will give any harvest updates throughout the season? Anyone heard? I know with systems such as Kentucky's I can see daily updates state wide. I do not see anywhere that information is available at this time. Reported one for my ...

Re: Florida Opener
Update - our 4:30pm local news is reporting brush fires in multiple locations in south Florida. Based on past practice I wouldn't be surprised if some WMAs are given an emergency closure. We'll see what happens. What amazed me was last week they were still burning fields with how dry it is and all ...

Dude , We full on using AC here in south GA . 80 degrees regularly last week of February. They got to be full grown mosquitoes in south FLORIDA by now big as Pterodactyls ! I didn't go this weekend because I'm in the central zone, but went last weekend with my daughter for youth season and I was pl...

Re: Versamax Turkey Pistol Grip?
I know Mesa Tactical makes the Urbino pistol grip stock and I have one that fits my 20ga 1187. I do not know how that lines up or if they have something else that will fit the Versamax. However, it it will fit I highly recommend that stock.

Burris Customer Service Shout Out
I had a great experience with Burris customer service. When a company does a great job these days it's noteworthy. Anyway, I had a Fast Fire 3 with an adjustment screw that was stuck and the dot was miss shapen. I have 3 of them and the other 2 are perfect. So, last year I took the bad one off one o...

FYI Holosun Deal
Came across this in an email. Anyone have this exact one? I'm tempted to pick one up and ditch one of the FF3's I have. If I don't figured I'd at least let the nation know about it. Looks like a fine sight if anyone is in the market and seems like a phenomenal deal! https://palmettostatearmory.com/h...

Ours starts next Sat her in FL along with teal. If it's anything like normal I'll probably be covered up in the black bellied whistling ducks and hopeful for the odd ball woody and occasional group of teal. Still there is hope and a chance!
