Re: CZ Bobwhite 28 gauge choke setup
Thanks Shooter, I'll check into the Trulock. My triggers are good. I don't have a scale, but the front trigger is heavier and still breaks under the weight of the gun. So it's at least under 6 lbs. The rear trigger is much lighter. Both are crisp. Awesome!! My triggers are 7-8 lbs! That’s 2Shooter!...

Re: CZ Bobwhite 28 gauge choke setup
Contact Trulock chokes, and see if you can special order a 3 step .515 tss choke for a CZ. Hal has several loads for a 28ga. Tommy sells shot, but I don’t know if he has a 28ga load. I’ve got a older version of the CZ BobWhite 28ga, and I need to get the triggers adjusted.

Re: Mossberg SA-410 base / picatinny rail
Get the EGW part # 49325 use the back hole on the gun and have another hole tapped for the front screw. I’ve tried all the bases, and EGW has enough metal that you don’t have to fill it up with epoxy to keep it from flexing when you torque the screws.

Re: Weatherby Element 20 gauge , 22" Bottomland
I’ve use the Warbird optic guard with a lot of EGW 670 radius mounts and never had a problem with a Burris FF3. The only issue is the optic guard will cover the post on the mount, but the 2 screws that hold the sight will hold everything in place.

Re: Comp-N-Choke Barrel Threading Update
They didn’t do you a very good job or you wouldn’t be taken Sandpaper to well-known child manufactures threads. I do machining on CNC equipment every day and this is bull crap I’d be sending it barrel back. Name one factory shotgun and Indian Creek Chokes won’t screw into???? Lol Indian Creek choke...

Re: Mossberg sa28 my two cents
I just got one too and absolutely love it. Well, if I could find a choke that would fit it, I would love it even more. So far Indian Creeks don't fit, and I bought 2 chokes from Trulock to try, a 529 and 535. The 535 screws right in. The 529 will not screw in. I did take a bird with it using the 53...

Re: Permethrin Time
I got a dumb question. If you have to let permethrin dry completely on your clothes before you wear them because it’s supposed to be harmful if the clothes are still wet. What happens when you wear the treated clothes in hot weather, and they get soaked with sweat? Asking for a friend.

Re: Stevens 555
In my Stevens 555 20ga I shoot a Indian Creek .555 in the top barrel, and the factory full in the bottom barrel. With my TSS 9 hand-loads in the top barrel, and the old Remington Hevi-Shot factory 3” 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2’s field load in bottom barrel. POA/POI is on the money with both barrels. The bottom ...
