How far can you shoot at turkey with a 410? My little boy wants to hunt next year with his 410 . How close does the bird need to be? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm shooting TSS 8s through a fixed full choke, and i would say it's good to 30yds and maybe a bit more. I would expect a better pa...

Do Turkeys Draw Straws?

I can't help but wonder how the flock chose this hen for the recon mission of the TSS range. She was very thorough checking out the bench and even the trap

Re: Hardest PA. season ever!

Last week in NY I saw 5 longbeards grouped up as you stated and not a hen in sight. This really got me to thinkin' and the more I thought about it the more confused I got... But after 3+ hours of working them, one got dead.

A ? for the 20ga Montefeltro folks

Looking to pattern the Big 20 Xl in a Montefeltro, do I need to trim the hull in order to achieve reliable cycling? I've seen where guys have had issues with the M2s and I'm not familiar with the design/workings of any of the guns in the Benelli line.

Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Ithaca M66 20ga Build

Phase 2 Progression- After much thought, maybe even too much, I decided on a design for the cuts of the adjustable comb and used painters tape for layout. I used a scroll saw and a band saw to complete the cuts and remove the comb. The flats are a shorter than the dimensions supplied with the hardwa...
