Re: Gun case for traveling
You cant go wrong with a pelican. I havea pelican and negrini. DO NOT GET TSA LOCKS...if they want to open your case they have to call you and you will be there when they open it. I agree......I prefer to have my own lock and I'm the only one with a key. Get there slightly earlier. If there is a pr...

I've got the Cover King's.......no complaints what so ever, after 4 years they still look brand new. They're in my hunting truck. And the install is very simple and easy.

Re: Gun and Luggage Options - the traveling hunter
I'm going to assume this is a DIY hunt and you're alone. These are my suggestions and what I've found to work for me. It's a little more than what you asked for but maybe it will help, Southwest is good, Delta, American and others are gonna nickle and dime you, Remember to keep your checked bag unde...

Works great. No complaints here. I was able to put the mesa tactical urbino pistol grip stock on my 870 youth 20 gauge. Been shooting in for 3 years now like this.

Re: Who's shooting 8's
You could always run a duplex load of 8X9's. Remington youth 870, 21", IC .555 300ish. Straight 9's bumping up near 350.
I've yet to have a bird walk away from either load.

Re: Who's shooting 8's
You could always try a duplex of 8's & 9's. My Remington 870 21" with IC .555 put up 290's to 315 with the 1 5/8 load.. Straight 9's is high 330's to 350 with the same combo.

His success rate is not unobtainable, even here in the South/Southeast. However, his "newbie" numbers are impressive to say the least.
I commend him for giving back like he has, I'm not to that point yet. I've had 6 pop their cherry with me, I couldn't imagine 53.

I got into the 20 game last year and had the same ordeal. I love Benelli's, I know guys who shoot the Weatherbys, Franchi's, etc. For the money it's hard to beat the little Remington 20's. The 21" barrel is a dream to carry though the woods, not to mention the lightness of the gun. You find the...

Not condoning the fact that they broke the law, wrong is wrong. However, there is a reason they are called "sky carp". Do the crime do the time. they should offer a bounty for snows. And for the sky carp thing... Grain fed snow geese are delectable table fare. Either you have not had one ...
