Not with that gun, but Beretta makes some fine guns, I would buy one if you want it!

Does the m carbo spring improve travel or just pressure? My trigger is light enough but the travel sucks and there is a hitch in it.

Re: Guided Southern Utah Merriam Turkey Hunts Available
Nice work fellas, may save some people from a shady character. The lion hunt being called canned is a bit of a stretch though it does go against the game laws there for sure. Not likely there are multiple Wade Lemon's running around, I clicked on his user name and got some error code, maybe he's gon...

Any fresh green, creek bottoms green up first typically as well as south facing hill sides. I have watched them pick at fresh green leaves on multi floral rose and green briar in Illinois and Missouri. They green up early on field edges as well.

Re: YouTube red dot sight in
One of chokes it works fine but the other not so much, it shoots so different between the dove load and TSS it is just a waste of time shooting the dove loads.
Going to try some heavier pheasant type loads and see if they are closer.
With that method just shoot two turkey loads at 10-12 yds.

Re: 410 vs 20ga youth starter gun
After my pattern session yesterday I wouldn't want a kid or timid shooter shooting that light weight 20ga with 1 5/8th oz loads that's for sure!
Those guys pushing those 2oz 20ga loads, no thanks!
I have a 1 1/4 oz recipe I may try next time I load.

In the Midwest it is hard to beat dirt, killed way more in the dirt than nice green alfalfa or clover, out west here in the mountains it's all about fresh green, follow the snow melt and or the elk herds.

I have never carried a range finder, misjudged my first miss pathetically across a ravine, was way off. I shot and still shoot a lot of 3d and can judge quite well, I have been hunting birds in the mountains a lot and have been considering carrying a range finder, but I try and keep stuff to a minim...

Re: Number 1 hunting tip
Particularly in steep or thick terrain I shoot a lot of birds standing up, mush easer to see them coming and in the steep stuff those peak a boo birds get it before they are peaking!
Also learn to shoot off handed, killed many lefty also.

I only spray the outside of my clothes and avoid spraying areas I think I will have my hands on a lot. Do not spray base layers, None on gloves, cuffs of sleeves etc. Have two pair of long socks that go to just below the knee and they get light treatment as well. Not sure it is still around, Top sec...

Re: Most productive box call
I have a Rohm Brothers purr-fect box call a client gave me. It was pure poison on birds for a while, it seemed to lose it's luster and now it has a small crack on the edge of the lid, still sounds good but it does not seem to get the response it once did.
I rarely carry a box anymore.

I took a few clean off, skull capped one from the beak up once too! They are fun to hunt with but suck in the wind an are not forgiving of mistakes! I "missed" one and he hung around, then killed him with a mechanical head, upon further inspection he had a slice on his dome from the first ...

Big giant 3 or 4 blade mechanical!
I bow hunted them exclusively for 10 years, shot guillotine style a little but mostly large cut mechanical.
