I like the idea. Just to be sure the gun receiver only has holes drilled through it the correct size no TAP or threads on the gun receiver?

Burris red dots are the best red dot you can get

GN20 for 20% off any Burris Optic

Gobbler for 10% any EGW mount
Where can this Burris Optic code be used? If not any Burris vendors here sell fast fire 3 or 4?

Re: 20 & 28 ga chokes for TSS

Lots of factors to consider but the range I would start with would be:

28 Gauge --- .520-.525

20 Gauge --- .555-.575

Re: Mossberg SA-28 Tactical Turkey

I have a Carlson .520 for the SA28, found it new on Ebay before I got the IC .520

It shot good patterns also, I just think the IC .520 is more consistent in my gun.

Re: Mossberg sa28 bantam

On my SA-28 I took it completely down and cleaned with brake cleaner to get the ton of packing grease out of everything. Never have seen a new gun with this much grease in it. Then I took the bolt carrier and "polished" the rails of the carrier with a Dremell and flitz polish until it was ...

Re: Mossberg SA-28 Tactical Turkey

Should I get an .520 or .525. I got Apex 9.5s coming. Was looking at some Verdict or Rogue. Any other suggestions? I don't think you can go wrong with either one of those chokes with any 9.5's in the SA-28. That being said, If your chances of shooting 30-50yds would go with the .520. If never a cha...

Re: SA-28 break in

Great 10" core. IMO, too tight in the 10" relative to the 20". I personally like a similar pellet count in both the 10" and 20" which gives a better killing pattern at 20 yards which will still hold together out to 50 yards. I hear ya 250/250 would be great but I have reach...

Shot a few more out the SA-28. Thanks to Hoobilly and Indian Creek I got the .520 in already and sent a few #9's through it. Re: SA-28 break in

Not real sure if the IC would be better just end up shooting them in almost every turkey gun I set up. I have a strange addiction to buying chokes for turkey and duck shotguns. Not sure what happened on the the last shot. It was the last shot of the 8 all I can figure is the gun was getting dirty. I...

SA-28 break in

Picked up a SA-28 compact 23" barrel this week. Ran 3 different loads through it today with a Carlson .520. Hopefully get an Indian Creek .520 for it before the season, but it was pretty good with the .520 Carlson. The gun was supposed to be for my boys.....but shooting like this I will probabl...

There were not many choke options for the A-400 28 when i got mine a few years ago. I shot the factory Beretta full it was ok, but i ended up going with the Briley X-full is what i ended up going with.

Re: Best mount on a benelli m2 20 ga for either a fastfire or holosun sight

Side note. The speed bead will not fit the Holosun 407 (I learned that the hard way). The “footprint” is different.

Whatever sight and mount you buy make sure it’s the same footprint. This link covers most

Re: Best mount on a benelli m2 20 ga for either a fastfire or holosun sight

Speed bead is what I went with on my M2’s. Simple mount, stays zero, no drill and tap. And can shoot the bead if all else fails.

XF BRILEY is the one I ended up hunting with.

You won’t find many options I shot the Beretta factory full also.

Re: shooting 20 ga. Federal TSS

Anyone try the federal 3” tss in the M2?

kind of wondered in a 3” roll crimp like the federal would cycle up from the chamber on benelli M2 and the affinity.

Federal 3” heavyweight #7 would cycle in my M2 but it was a fold crimp.

Re: 28 gauge —A400

Briley says X FULL is .027. From a .545 bore of 28ga would be .518 Best I can tell from a micrometer it’s .522, but I’m no machinist. On other chokes I know the diameter of, the mic reads the stated diameter. I thought 28ga was .550 bore that would mean at .522 mic it would have a .028 constriction...

3 more shots today. With Hal’s advice think I got what I was looking for. Added a single round punch out of Mylar to the bottom of the TPS wad and silt each petal down another 1/8” to keep pellets from sticking in the wad. 2C068897-6E36-40EB-90F5-687D4A5BECF5.jpeg DBB93C33-3D0D-4A26-BA8A-5496B1B885C...
