Re: #7 HW x #9 TSS Duplex ?
I cooked up a 1-1/2oz 20ga load and sent it into the lab. I took a 1-5/8oz tss recipe that came back around 12k-ish and the hw7xtss came back at 13,4 if I remember correctly. I'd have to dig the sheet out to get a exact. It's not apples to apples.

Re: Browning tss
The longbeards are actually trimmed down from a 3". I had a fired one and compared it to a 3" new fio and it was shorter. I cant remember how much and I used to have a picture but I deleted it. The roll crimp makes them a little longer than the fold crimp shell which causes some autos not ...

Re: Which 20 or 28 Gauge Auto?
I just picked up a Franchi Affinity in bottomland. The camo jobs are hit and miss. Be sure to look it over good. It's a 50 dollar dip job basically. 749 for black, 799 for camo. In the two stores that sell them near me. I wont hold that against the way it shoots tho! I love it.

Re: Tri star raptor
FWIW, I had a raptor in a 12ga. It would sure shoot but, I had some issues with it. For one, the reciever wasnt designed for a dot. I had a 28mm bushnell on it and it stripped 2 of the screw holes out causing it to be very inaccurate. Sometimes it wouldn't cycle correctly, even with magnum loads. Ma...

Re: Harvest #s on hunting clubs
I'm in a 3200 acre club and there was 3 turkeys killed on it this year. Most of it is new clear cuts, 5yr and newer with hardwood draws paralleling a mountain. It's hard to kill birds there. 4 hunters, not many birds. I'm on another lease that's close to 5000 acres and I know of 1 turkey killed on i...

Re: Citori 20 Guage Choke Help
I run a IC555 in the top and a modified in the bottom of mine. The IC is so bulky on outside you can't hardly get another extended choke in there.

Sumtoy won't swap you another choke for it? He's always been good about that. I'd call him. Maybe he can open it up for you.

M4 Style Stock
For the guys who have a M4 stock on your guns, what recoil pad are you using? Was looking into the limbsaver M4 pad that slips on but it looks pretty thin. I know they're not meant for shotgun recoil so they shouldn't be very thick. Just wondering how much recoil it took out and whether it's worth 4...

Re: 20 gauge choke ?
That IC555 will do 300+ all day long at 40. Number chasing turns into missed turkeys according to some of these guys. I shoot turkeys when they get in range, so I like my 555. I'm not welcome to talk about my turkey stories on the other website. A 43 yard turkey kill will get you banned!!! Anyway, t...

You don't need anything other than a moped to get back and forth to work....Everyone agrees to disagree. I was just wondering if they would cycle from the magazine to the chamber and how much to trim. How much money one should waste on shooting turkeys should be solely up to himself. I'm with you. ...
