Barrel Cleaning
So a buddy and I followed Clark’s method of Deep cleaning our Shotguns.
Each was already sighted in with either scopes or Reflex sights.
After cleaning per Clark’s Instructions the bores were shiny and spotless.
However, each of our shotguns were shooting atleast
6-12” High!!!
How common is this?

Re: Oklahoma clothing
I hunt the Black Kettle nearly every season. Rugged terrain. Lots of sand burs, stinging nettle, some cactus, and lots of thorn trees in bottoms. I wear heavy carrhart camo pants with thermal underwear in am. It's usually chilly. Warms up fast. Usually have a jacket, leather gloves, hat & tobogg...

Re: Benelli M2 choke question
Just curious as too the highest pellet counts anyone has achieved with the 20ga.
Seems 280-300 is easily achieved with a 1.625 oz load.
Anyone putting up a consistent 350+ in the 10" @ 40 yards with the 20ga?

Re: Head Steppin !
I put a boot on the neck in most cases. Force of habit I guess. However, anyone that hasn't shot a gobbler And had it suddenly come to life and try to run off, has not shot enough Gobblers!!! Or they are just better shots than I. I don't see it disrespectful at all!!! Just the opposite because I wou...

Re: Good gun dipper
Dipping is fine, but for the ultimate protection
Have a clear, matte cerakote applied to the dipped gun. It will keep it from chipping/rubnling
Off much better.

Re: which shell to reach out there
Now its very funny. I see.
I was just told a story today that was a burr
In my pants. Dang kid loading 3oz of TSS
and trying to kill as far as possible. Shot two at
17HMR Range. I guess im still little ticked at
His lack of respect for hunting.
I digress

Re: which shell to reach out there
Is this a serious thread? I dont think its very ethical to take 60+ Yard shots. More birds will be wounded than cleanly harvested. Ever seen a Gobbler fly off with a broken leg? I have and he is a dead bird. A single pellet in the crop or in the gut or lungs---He is a dead bird And you will not get ...
